Sales will always tell you that sales is based on relationships, using the Internet doesn’t help create those relationships. Other sales people will say they don’t have time to learn it, use it, or my personal favorite “that’s Marketing’s job.”

There are a lot of new Inbound Marketers, Social Media gurus and experts that will tell you Social Media is the next great thing for marketing. More sales is what’s needed not just conversation. What is the process for moving leads found using Social Media to CRM and then to a sales person? Finding a name on Twitter or Facebook only gets you so far.
